Assessment Tasks

Copy and paste from the following data to produce each assessment task. Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.
Copy and paste from the following performance criteria to create an observation checklist for each task. When you have finished writing your assessment tool every one of these must have been addressed, preferably several times in a variety of contexts. To ensure this occurs download the assessment matrix for the unit; enter each assessment task as a column header and place check marks against each performance criteria that task addresses.

Observation Checklist

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with work, health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times 
Obtain system and component specifications and other relevant information from appropriate sources and in accordance with organisational and customer requirements 
Establish cloning requirements and other information relevant to task in accordance with customer needs, organisational and manufacturer specifications and legislation, codes, regulations and standards 
Select and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) 
Identify risks and hazards and make area safe 
Select tools, equipment, materials and consumables, check for serviceability and use in accordance with manufacturer specifications and SOPs 
Identify personal limitations in programming and seek assistance from appropriate sources 
Establish programming requirements in accordance with SOPs and supplier requirements 
Program keys to correct specification 
Test system function to ensure correct operation 
Complete documentation, and process in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements 
Clean work area, tools and equipment and store in accordance with SOPs
